Located 31 km, south of Lima, in the Lurin Valley, Pachacamac is the most important pre-Hispanic sanctuary of the Peruvian central coast. It contains the remains of palaces, streets, squares and temples built entirely out of adobe. There is also an interesting site museum housing the idol of the God, Pachacamac.
